With the UK government launching a number of incentives to improve the energy efficiency of your homes; air source heat pumps are an ideal solution to reduce your properties carbon footprint while lowering your energy bills.
Our Heat Pumps are eligible for the UK governments Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is the world's first long-term financial support programme for renewable heat. The RHI will pay participants of the scheme to generate and use renewable energy to heat their buildings.
The domestic RHI is targeted at, but not limited to, homes off the gas grid. Those without mains gas have the most potential to save on fuel bills and decrease carbon emissions.
How do heat pumps work?
Put simply a heat pump takes the available heat from the ground or air surrounding a property and increases it to a more useful temperature for use in the home.
This renewable source of heat can be used to create warm air or water (for space and central heating) as well as hot water (for both central heating and domestic hot water supply). It achieves this by taking the same principle that allows a fridge to cool your groceries and by utilising it in reverse.
